This is a blog. A place where I share my experience and the places that I get to visit. I am a writer, photographer, enthusiast, world wanderer and filmmaker. Oh, and I’m a woman. That is something special, I have learned.
I am creating Woman in the world in an attempt to tell one consistent story, that takes you around the world with me. It's about shifting perspectives, experiencing extremes and looking into everyday life in other places. Not everybody can or wants to travel full time. Believe me, I understand. Sometimes, I am not sure that I want to do it either. It's an ongoing negotiation. I want to share that negotiation with you.
So far, I have travelled from Germany to Dubai overland. It has taken me 22.580 km. I saw the frozen sea in Finland, fell in love with the northern sun and danced in the Iranian desert. I am halfway to Australia. It feels big.
By now, I had to take my first aeroplane (from Dubai to Dehli) and arrived in South East Asia. I climbed up to 4.500 Meters in Nepal, witnessed the monks debate in Tibet, ate my way through South China and drifted along the Mekong from Laos to Thailand.
Next up: Thailand, Malaysia, Australia
This is my favourite post.
This is the beginning (the very first post).
